大塘村是广州市南沙区黄阁镇的行政村，位于镇中心，与东里、莲溪、大井合称“四大村”。[1][2] 村名来自李家祠前的一口大水塘，相传宋代（一说元代）由陈氏开村。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

明、清两代归香山县黄旗都，民国时期归中山县第九区管辖；1959年7月转入番禺县黄阁公社，成立大塘大队；1987年10月起设村民委员会；2005年10月与黄阁镇同时转入南沙区。[1]

人口经济[edit]

土地面积约4平方千米，下辖14个生产队和1个经济合作社。[1] 村域面积在广州市规划部门的资料中记为344.27公顷，2012年户籍人口2971人，2017年为3320人。[2] 集体经济以厂房、商铺等物业租金为主，特产是塘宝番薯；村里投入200多万元建成大塘公园。[1][4]

文化古迹[edit]

大塘直街是原来的主街，用麻石板铺成，与大井直街同为南沙区保存下来的两条石板街；沿街串联祠堂、府第和书室，另有平原下巷、中心下巷、猎德上巷三组古民居。村内留有古井4口、古墓6座。[2]

村中的李氏继述堂等旧祠堂已在20世纪中叶先后拆毁；刘氏夫人墓在大仁山，建于清光绪年间，2004年列为区级文物保护单位。[5]

和乐社是村里的民间社团，下有麒麟、醒狮、武术三支队伍，其中麒麟队拿过全国民间艺术“山花奖”，黄阁麒麟舞已列入广东省非物质文化遗产名录。[4]
