彰坑村属广东省茂名市高州市泗水镇，是镇下辖的行政村^[1]。旧时村周围多樟桂树，称樟桂坡，之后叫樟坑；上世纪70年代，因平山镇也有一处樟坑、容易混淆，才改写为彰坑^[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

彰坑原属禄匝大队，1963年另立大队^[1]。1983年设乡，1986年设农村管理区，1999年定为彰坑村民委员会^[1]。

2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予彰坑村2021年广东省卫生村称号^[1]。
