西塘村隶属信宜市镇隆镇，为镇上的行政村之一。位于镇隆镇中部，辖11个村民小组，在册420户、2075人，总面积约2平方千米，耕地750亩，种甘蔗、花生，荔枝、龙眼是村里的特色收入。[1]
地名由来[edit]
古时村边靠近西江河岸有一口大鱼塘，后来填平建村，故名西塘。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立初期编作十一村；1958年起与西岸同属一个大队，1961年两地分设，西塘自成大队；1999年起称西塘村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2023年5月，西塘村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
