大塘村是徐闻县龙塘镇的行政村，在镇境东南部，东、南两面临琼州海峡，面积15.26平方公里，下辖沙仔、良姜、大塘、白水塘等16个自然村。[1]

据2004年的统计，全村918户4621人，耕地6377亩，农业总产值2468万元；有小学7所。[1]村委会驻大塘村。[1]
经济[edit]
博雅地名网称大塘是汉药高良姜的原产地，近年又兴起鲍鱼和对虾养殖。[1]
沿革与荣誉[edit]
建制上，1958年为大塘大队，此后依次改称乡、村委会、管理区，1999年起定为村民委员会。[1]2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2023年5月，埚仔村获评2022年广东省卫生村。[1]
