村以工业生产为主，有玻璃、金属、制鞋、木材加工等企业，村内还有银业雁山、叠翠山庄等住宅区。[1][2] 临近滨江大道和鹤山港码头，佛开高速公路从村旁经过。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
「2022年广东省卫生村」于2023年5月命名，坑口、坑尾、新村、林屋4个自然村在列；2019年9月，村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2026年3月被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1][2]
