地名由来[edit]
当地有一口大塘，村以塘名。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
1950年设大塘农会，1954年改初级社，1956年转高级社，1961年称大队，1988年改称塘岭管理区，1998年12月起改设村民委员会。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
村域面积2.16平方千米，耕地1043亩，农户195户，约916人。[1] 2023年5月，省爱卫会授予大塘村2022年度省级卫生村称号。[1]
