历史沿革[edit]
当地把泉眼叫“汶”，水田又多是泥浆很深的朗田，耕作时要先铺松木做的“朗桥”，村名由此而来。[3]1955年这里是护村、石坳两个大队，1966年合为汶朗大队；1973年再拆成护村和右坳两个大队，至1983年统归汶朗乡。之后改为村委会（1986年）、管理区（1989年），1998年起为村民委员会。[3]
经济[edit]
全村山地9000亩，耕地12000亩，沙田柚已种1500多亩，其中挂果800多亩（博雅地名网所记）。[2]百度百科则记种植面积1800多亩，有蜜柚种植大户17户。[1]
2019年9月，农业农村部认定汶朗村（汶朗蜜柚）为第九批全国“一村一品”示范村镇；2020年8月入选广东省首批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村；2023年4月进入2022年度广东省乡村治理示范村创建名单；2026年1月又被评为第二批广东省“百千万工程”典型村。[3]
