历史沿革[edit]
最早见于1953年设立的潭桥乡；1958年改作生产大队，至1983年又改回乡，1987年起称村民委员会，1989年改称管理区，直到1999年才重新使用村民委员会这一名称，延续到现在。[1]据村情材料，村名由潭段、三桥、元田三地合并而来。[1]
经济[edit]
村里种荔枝、龙眼，推广优质良种水稻，并大力发展马铃薯；北运菜也是主要作物。据村情材料，上一年全村经济总收入为13000万元。[1]
