含沙村属广东省茂名市信宜市怀乡镇，位于镇域东南部，是镇下辖的24个行政村之一。[1]据博雅地名网所载，村内设20个村民小组，登记860户、共3596人，村域面积5.2平方千米，耕地约2000亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
这里植被稀少，雨水常把沙石冲进河里，河水含沙量大，村名因此叫含沙。[2]
1953年土地改革时，因当地所产水产常含细沙，改称含沙乡；1958年改编为含沙大队。此后乡政府、管理区办事处等名称几度更替，1999年起定称含沙村民委员会。[1]
- 2021年12月，经广东省爱卫会评定为「2021年广东省卫生村」。[1]
经济[edit]
村里种植水稻、玉米、木薯，副业和特色产业有竹器编织、制造缸瓦、龙眼；据博雅地名网，上一年全村经济总收入约1189万元（年份未注明）。[1]
近年村里靠种植水果取得了较好的收益。[1]
