坦尾村是广州市南沙区原黄阁镇南部的行政村，位于京珠南路边、蕉门水道旁，东接南沙街，隔水与横沥镇相望，2023年12月划入南沙街道。^[1]^[2] 村名因处在坦头村延伸而来的一条沙坦的尾端。^[3]

历史沿革[edit]

明、清时期开村，归香山县黄旗都；民国时期归中山县第九区管辖；1959年7月转入番禺县黄阁公社，成立坦尾大队；1987年10月起设村民委员会，2005年10月与黄阁镇同时转入南沙区。^[3] 2023年12月28日划入南沙街道。^[2]

辖区面积353公顷，总人口约1900人、509户（快懂百科所载，未注年份）。土地大部分已被征用，按15%留用的经济发展用地约480亩。^[1]
