历史沿革[edit]
民国时期归化县第七区管辖。1958年入人民公社，1960年起为宝圩镇的大塘大队。其后依次改乡（1983年）、设村民委员会（1987年）、称管理区办事处（1989年），1999年回到村民委员会至今。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，大塘村入选「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」。[1]
经济[edit]
大塘村种植的作物以蚕桑、香蕉、荔枝、龙眼为主，当地年均气温约22.6摄氏度。[1]
