群岗社区是佛山市南海区狮山镇辖下的社区，在狮山东北部、官窑与里水交界处，原为群岗村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网所录地名解释，因这一带山岗连绵成群而得名。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
1951年设群岗乡政府；1958年10月并入东风人民公社，称群岗生产大队；1980年4月复设群岗乡人民政府；1985年撤乡，设管理区办事处；1999年改为村民委员会。2004年南海区调整区域，群岗并入狮山镇；2013年“村改居”，改设居民委员会。[2]
