历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立初期隶属和垌乡；1956年起先后为岐岭农业社、岐岭大队，1984年设乡政府，1987年改设村民委员会，这一年的设立得到了广东省人民政府的批准[1]。
地理环境[edit]
村子沿县道西线公路和东安江分布，到镇政府18公里。西北方向与广西苍梧县木双镇相邻，离区界不到一公里，有公路通木双[1]。
人口民族[edit]

耕地1942.5亩、山地30015亩。种砂糖桔、水稻，兼养三种家禽，收入主要来自林业和外出务工，人均年收入4620元，村集体每年收入十余万元[1]。
