历史沿革[edit]
村落始建于清代初期，别称张家涌。[1] 1949年时归中山县，1959年改隶番禺县；1961年从大井生产大队分出，成立涌口生产大队，1987年12月起设南涌口村民委员会，2005年同黄阁镇一道转入南沙区。[1][3]
人口经济[edit]
辖区面积约0.68平方公里，耕地829亩，户籍人口792人，外来人口约190人（百度百科所载，未注年份）。[1] 村里留有经济发展用地，以“货币加物业”的方式开发商业综合体。[1]
近年发展[edit]
南涌口艺术村在2025年元旦的系列活动中受到关注，被黄阁镇作为“百千万工程”成效的展示点。[4] 2025年，村被认定为广州市高质量充分就业街镇社区（村）。[3]
