中七村位于鹤山市龙口镇西北部，与龙口圩相距3.2公里，辖区面积5.5平方千米，由7条自然村、20个村民小组组成，常住人口3885人（博雅地名网所载，未注明年份）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年建镇时，同一溪流边的15条自然村合为「十五乡」，本片位居其中，故名中七。[1]清代属古劳都，1958年称中七大队，1983年称中七乡，1986年称中七管理区，1998年起称中七村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
农业用地2300亩，包括禾田1200亩和鱼塘1013亩，另有山地2700亩。过去以稻谷、烟叶、花生为主，1985年实行耕地十五年不变的家庭联产承包后，种养业多样起来。[1]
文化[edit]
2022年1月，广东省乡村振兴局把中七村列入乡村治理示范村创建名单（2021年度）；2023年5月获评2022年广东省卫生村。[1]
