大塘村是曲江区大塘镇下辖的行政村。因街东南面有一口天然大水塘而得名。[1]村委会在镇区西南，共1428人，分10个村民小组；耕地1560亩，水田占1200亩，另有旱地360亩，鱼塘约800亩，距韶关市区11公里，村民以养鱼、种菜和种稻为生。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年8月，大塘村列入首批省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，产业为蔬菜。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年10月曲江县人民政府成立后，这里设大塘乡，属第四区；1951年5月建村级人民政府，称大塘村政府；1952年3月复称大塘乡，属大塘区；公社化时期（1961年3月起）为大塘公社的大塘大队；撤社建乡改革后的1983年11月起称大塘乡，到1986年12月又定名大塘村委会，其间1989年曾叫管理区，1998年12月恢复村委会之名。[1]
