新田村是佛山市南海区西樵镇辖下的行政村。1961年调整社队时，由新五、田心两个大队各取一字，合称新田。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1927年分属海舟堡和镇涌堡，1946年分属海金乡和南胜乡；土改结束后（1953年）改立新田乡。1958年秋叫海新大队，1961年8月起，镇南、新五、田心等队隶属太平公社，1963年2月合成新田大队。[1]

1983年底成立新田乡，其后改称行政村、管理区，1999年5月设村民委员会。[1]

新田村在2020年至2022年连续入选淘宝村名单；2019年9月，进入广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
