新田村是博罗县杨村镇的行政村。[1]
名称与沿革[edit]
由原先的新田营与新田高级社合并，各取一字，得名新田。[1]
清代属苏州巡检司，1729年（雍正七年）归宁集；民国属显村圩清平乡，1949年10月后属三区显杨乡；1959年设杨村人民公社，1973年为新田大队，1983年称新田乡，1986年为杨村镇新田管理区；1990年起由新田村民委员会管理。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，新田村被列为2018年度“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位。[1]
