历史沿革[edit]
关于村名，博雅地名网收录的说法是：原名官田。相传西汉时赵佗称王，在此屯田，故名官田；解放初期改“官”为“新”，取新时期新开始之意。[1]
建制变化：1949年至1958年为生产大队，1959年至1983年改为乡政府，1984年至1987年改为管理区，1999年改为村委会。[1]
