历史沿革[edit]
博雅地名网记，大晚明代或更早建村，原是海滩，称鱿鱼洲，建村后取名“大满”，后人以“满招损，谦受益”和“大器晚成”为意，改作大晚。[1]民国时为大晚乡，1958年起设大队，八十年代依次改乡、改村，1999年称村委会，到2001年10月村改居，设大晚居委会。[1]
社区概况[edit]
本地常住5062人，外来者有8668人；设大同、胜利、民主三个居民小组；80%以上的劳动力从事二、三产业，辖区有企业40多间。[2]社区曾获广东省卫生村、佛山市“十好”和谐文明村居、顺德区“美城行动”先进村居等称号。[2]
