古城村是广东省肇庆市怀集县蓝钟镇下辖的行政村，距镇墟15公里，25个自然村，人口2982人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明朝年间，村民为防外敌侵扰，在村寨周围修筑城墙，因而得名古城。[2] 1957年是高级农业生产合作社，1958年改称大队，1977年曾再度恢复大队的名称；1983年转为乡，1987年为村委会，1992年为管理区，1998年定为村民委员会。[1][2]
经济[edit]
村委会距蓝钟镇墟15公里，下辖25个自然村，人口2982人；水资源和森林资源丰富，全村有30多座水电站，产业以柑桔种植、禽畜养殖和小水电为主。[1] 据博雅地名网，三岳自然保护区座落在古城村。[1] 2019年12月入选第一批国家森林乡村；2020年8月，作为沙糖桔专业村列入首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单；又在2024年4月列入广东省首批乡村振兴示范村的创建名单。[1]
