上观村是迳口镇下辖的行政村。村名取自它坐落在王村洞上方。[1] 村委会辖区面积14平方千米，耕地2339亩，水田2100亩，下辖30个自然村，821户2612人（据博雅地名网所载村情，约2008年数据）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村民委员会设于1998年。更早的建制依次是：管理区（1987年）、乡（1983年）、大队（1958年）。[1]
经济[edit]
2008年全村柑桔种植面积3800亩，粮食种植800亩，有养猪专业户30多户；村人均收入4300元。[1] 2019年9月，上观村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年12月获2021年广东省卫生村称号。[1]
