龙江镇是广东省惠州市龙门县中部的乡镇，镇政府设在龙江圩，镇名即由此而来[1]。全镇面积约54.5平方千米，下辖2个社区、16个行政村[1][4]。据第七次全国人口普查，常住人口约2.23万人，在龙门县各街道乡镇中居第6位[1]。镇上的龙眼种植被列入广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业镇名单[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
民国元年（1912年）这一带设茅岗区，1938年改为茅岗乡[1]。中华人民共和国成立后，1949年划入第二区，1951年6月调整为第五区并分作三个乡；1958年10月并入平陵人民公社[1]。1961年另立龙江人民公社，1983年11月公社改称区，1986年12月区改为镇[1]。
镇名的来历，地名资料记为：此地原是长满茅草的山岗，称茅岗，后来发展成集镇，因工业兴旺改叫隆岗，再讹作龙岗，最后定名龙江；另一种说法是镇政府驻龙江圩，故以圩名为镇名[1]。
地理环境[edit]
镇域在龙门县中部，据镇情资料，距县城约19公里，总面积54.5平方千米，耕地共1107.7公顷，水田占929.6公顷，旱地占178.1公顷，另有自然村107条[2]。
人口民族[edit]
前述镇情资料记载，当时辖8个村委会、1个居委会，其中务农的有11821人，住在集镇的有2223人，合计14044人[2]。第七次全国人口普查的结果是常住人口约2.23万人[1]。
经济[edit]
镇情资料给出全镇2001年的生产总值为23650万元，三次产业依次是5650万元、13000万元和5000万元；2002年降到18479万元，农村人均收入3300元[2]。同年税收总收入合计241.27万元[2]。
龙眼是镇里的特色农业。2020年8月公布的首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单中有沈村，2021年9月公布的第二批名单中有石下村和甘坑村，三村所列的都是石硖龙眼[7][8][9]；同月龙江镇也入选第三批专业镇名单，所列为龙眼[1]。
荣誉与近年建设[edit]
2023年4月，龙江镇名列「2022年广东省乡村治理示范镇」创建单位[1]。石前村于2023年11月入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村，岭咀村于2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村[5][6]。
行政区划[edit]
镇辖龙江、路溪2个社区和16个行政村，村级单位在统计用区划代码里依次排到路溪村为止；博雅地名网把其中几处写作六子元村、格浪村、陈禾洞村、沈村村[4][3]。其中甘坑村于1992年从石下村所属的管理区中分出[3]。
