都平社区是封开县都平镇镇政府驻地所在的社区，辖17个经济合作社[1]。
地名由来[edit]
博雅地名网称，此地原有都平圩，“都平”被解释为壮语，“都”意为门，“平”与汉语同义，指平地上的村落[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
最初是1957年的农业社，其后改为大队。1963年，都平、寨龙、都罗口三个大队合为都平大队。1987年称都平村委会，到2002年，因镇政府驻在这里，村委会改成居委会，至今未变[1]。
基本情况[edit]
该页记，社区有430户共2200人，辖地近3万亩（29700亩），山地占去大半，耕地仅613亩，水田占其中563亩；对外有简易公路，已通电和电话[1]。2023年4月，名列「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位[1]。
