大塘村在埔前镇北部，东邻泥金村，总面积约5平方公里，分为5个村民小组（大塘、大埔、新塘、永久、田心），全村393户2087人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年有大塘乡，1962年编为大队，1983年起称村委会，1990年设管理区，1999年区撤，村委会延续至今。[2]

村集体上年度收入约13万元，人均年收入约1.5万元，党员71名。[1]
