历史沿革[edit]
最早是1949年的车田乡。1958年改叫河背并编为大队，1983年复为乡，1987年起由村委会管理；1990年一度设管理区，1999年取消，仍用河背村委会之名。[2]
村情[edit]
村中有耕地共1200亩，含水田1050亩和旱地150亩，另有山林2000亩；全村746户3365人，分4个自然村、15个村小组，有党员65名。村里的产业有光伏发电扶贫项目和厂房出租。[1]2018年度广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位的名单（2019年9月公布）里有河背村。[1]
