村情[edit]
全村共5126人，户籍4096人（1013户），另有外来人口1030人。耕地5130亩，其中旱地3150亩、水田1980亩，村民以务工为主，多在河源高新区就业。村内泥金小学约7200平方米，师生共367人。党员92人。[1][2]2019年9月，泥金村列入2018年度广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
抗日先锋队泥金乡队部旧址：1939年初，“抗先队”的林耀族、岑冰薇等人到泥金乡宣传抗日。该乡当时有400多户、3000多人，在河源、紫金、博罗三县交界处。他们用街头演讲、演出话剧、书写标语、绘制漫画和张贴墙报等办法宣传，吸收黄维初、黄平、刘华等人组成泥金乡队，队伍很快发展到几百人，活动扩大到紫金水东一带。旧址是村民旧宅，年久失修，未列为保护单位。[4]
