大塘社区是广东省广州市越秀区大塘街道下辖的社区[2]，属主城区，邮政编码510030[1]。明代辖内曾有大塘街，社区以此为名，与街道同名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1953年，设立大塘居民委员会；1958年，大塘街人民公社创办之时易名为第五居委会；1961年，划归东山区；1964年，复用大塘居委会之名；1966年，易名为大塘革命领导小组；1977年，易名为第六居委会；1987年，分为大塘南、大塘北两个居委会，1998年，重新合并，复用大塘居委会。二〇〇二年的调整中，担杆、贤思、大塘几个居委会的一部分地段调整组建，名称不变[1]。

荣誉[edit]

广州市住房和城乡建设局于2021年11月将其列入「广州市绿色社区」（2021年度）；2024年11月，获评「广州市充分就业社区（村）」（2024年度）[1]。
