坑尾村位于大埔县大麻镇境内，属英雅片，在梅州市、广东省的行政区划中是大麻镇所辖的一个村。阴那坑溪流在这里是源头，溪面窄、水流小，俗称为「尾」，故名坑尾。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

嘉靖三十六年（1557年）前后属三河新寨社的阴那坑村，乾隆初年（约1744年）同。2003年7月英雅镇并入大麻镇后，随之划归大麻镇，此前1998年改设村民委员会，1993年称英雅镇坑尾管理区，1988年改称管理区，1986年冬起属英雅乡坑尾村委会，1983年12月为英雅区坑尾乡，1961年属英雅公社，1958年人民公社化时成为三河公社的坑尾生产大队，1952年设坑尾乡，民国属三河区英雅乡。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

据村情页（未注明年份），全村分19个村民小组，在册305户、1511人，耕地888亩，主要经济作物为柚子、仙人草，上一年农村经济总收入1165万元。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2019年9月，坑尾村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
  • 2022年8月，坑尾村成为2022年度广东省民主法治示范村（社区）的创建对象。[1]
  • 2026年3月，坑尾村被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
