中兰村位于大埔县大麻镇境内，属河东片，在梅州市、广东省的行政区划中是大麻镇所辖的一个村。地形如围栏，民居多建在围栏之间，村名取「栏」的谐音写作「兰」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明代属大埔县大麻社，写作「中阑村」，清代作「中兰村」。1998年改设村民委员会，此前1988年改称管理区，1986年设村委会，1983年12月复称中兰乡，1978年3月改隶恭洲公社，1958年人民公社化时设大麻公社的中兰生产大队，1957年并入恭洲乡，1952年称中兰乡，1949年属麻东乡，民国时属大麻区中兰乡（俗称兰裕乡）。[2]
人口与经济[edit]
据村情页（未注明年份），全村分38个村民小组，在册645户、2570人，耕地1187亩，主要经济作物为柚子，上一年农村经济总收入2051万元。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
中兰资政第（又称钟宝三故居）为清代古建筑，在大埔县第十二批县级文物保护单位之列。[3]
