历史沿革[edit]
据村情材料，这一带有十六个姓氏的人从各地迁来聚居，村名由此而来。[1]
该村1958年编为生产大队，1983年11月改设乡，1987年又改为村委会，1989年4月起设管理区，1998年11月改称村民委员会[1]。
经济[edit]
村寨在半山腰，村道弯曲。村里利用落差用管道引水建电站，开发矿产，并种植砂仁。农业以造林为主，水田种水稻、花生，养猪、养鸭。村情材料称这里是革命老区村。[1]
