坑尾村位于大埔县大麻镇境内，属英雅片，在梅州市、广东省的行政区划中是大麻镇所辖的一个村。阴那坑溪流在这里是源头，溪面窄、水流小，俗称为「尾」，故名坑尾。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
嘉靖三十六年（1557年）前后属三河新寨社的阴那坑村，乾隆初年（约1744年）同。2003年7月英雅镇并入大麻镇后，随之划归大麻镇，此前1998年改设村民委员会，1993年称英雅镇坑尾管理区，1988年改称管理区，1986年冬起属英雅乡坑尾村委会，1983年12月为英雅区坑尾乡，1961年属英雅公社，1958年人民公社化时成为三河公社的坑尾生产大队，1952年设坑尾乡，民国属三河区英雅乡。[2]
