下黄岗村是四会市下茆镇最北的行政村，与广宁县相邻，辖区下设18个村民小组，登记人口1291人，土地约4.5平方公里（博雅地名网所载）[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
下黄岗大队始于1958年，1987年改设管理区；1998年依粤发〔1998〕14号文件撤销管理区，改设村民委员会；2004年，邻近的上黄岗村委会并入，合称下黄岗村[1]。
革命老区[edit]
村里是四会的革命老区之一，现保存较完整的炮楼5座，陈瑞忠带领的游击队曾长期以此为根据地[1]。村民种植稻米、蔬菜和沙糖桔；名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」（2019年9月公布）[1]。
