桃村在播植镇东部，到圩镇约7公里，管辖8个自然村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
桃村是辖区里最大的自然村，村委会因此用了它的名字，1998年经德庆县人民政府批准设立。[1]此前，新中国成立初称桃村乡，1962年为桃村大队，1989年为管理区。[1]2019年9月，桃村进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
经济[edit]
432户、2068人，水田1165亩，水果1081亩，种植水稻、沙糖桔、贡柑、桂皮和冬瓜。[1]
