历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历是旧时村分内坑、外坑，所处位置在山坑深处，即坑的尾端。[1]明代归程乡县万安都，清代归嘉应州龙文堡；1956年属水车乡；1959年起归水车人民公社，1987年起称坑尾管理区，1999年起为坑尾村委会。[1]2019年9月，村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单」。[1]
