坑尾村是广州市从化区城郊街道西北部的行政村，明珠大道从村南穿过。[1]土地面积221.58公顷，分设5个经济社，2017年底户籍人口880人。[1]
村名的由来：旧时此地有一条深坑，先人由横坑迁来，在兄弟中排行最末，故称坑尾。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
博雅地名网称村已有400多年历史，官方简介则记村建于新中国成立后，两说不一。[2][1]坑尾大队设于1958年，原归城郊公社；1976年划给民乐茶场，称坑尾农业管理区；1995年改设坑尾村民委员会。[2]
经济与民俗[edit]
村以荔枝、龙眼种植为特色；村内有清末建成的祠堂和一株百年古树。[1]每年腊月廿八有「老带」慰问活动，正月初十有上丁习俗。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，坑尾村进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单；2026年1月获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[2]
