大坑村是广东省汕头市潮阳区谷饶镇的行政村，位于镇的东南部，东靠山，与西胪镇相接，南连铜盂镇，在洪和公路（现237省道）东侧。[1][2]相传清雍正十二年（1734年），村民因剿盗有功，被朝廷赐名泰康乡。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，村前昔年山洪冲刷，形成一条大沟，故称大坑；明洪武七年（1374年）祖先到此立村。[1][2]清雍正十二年，村民剿盗有功，朝廷赐名泰康乡，并在西门寨门立“太平宽门”一座，此门在“文革”期间受损，后修复；清光绪年间改称大享乡（页面另作大亨乡），1965年复称大坑。[1][2]此后名称几经更替，1999年起沿用现名。[1]

姓氏宗族[edit]

该页所述，明永乐年间（1403年至1424年），邱氏第八代裔孙邱淳溲从饶平县三饶迁来，当地因此流传“未有大坑先有邱”的说法；陈氏先祖在永乐三年（1405年）自福建莆田迁来，萧氏为萧洵第八代裔孙，从举练都宅尾村分迁而来。[2]新中国成立时村中曾有14个姓氏同居，故有“十姓门楼九姓巷”之说，现有陈、萧、邱、杨、张、林、曾7姓，以陈、萧、邱三姓人口较多。[2]

该页所载，全村2307户、约14000人，耕地2400亩，山地4450亩，旅外侨胞近万人。[2]2009年，全村经济收入共6724万元；集体收入为375万元；有规模企业30多家、小作坊200多家，多做文胸和内衣。[2]村里集资3000多万元建自来水厂和蓄水池，投资2500多万元建起大坑中学和大坑小学，占地50多亩，可容纳5000名学生。[2]

大坑村在2020年至2022年连续列入淘宝村名单，2023年5月获「广东省卫生村」称号（2022年度）。[1]
