历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，祖先到此定居时，附近多山埔，村建在前头的埔地上，故名头埔；明正德年间立村，此后名称几经更替，先后称大队、乡、村委会、管理区，1999年起沿用现名。[1]
