全村1797人，总面积3915亩，其中耕地1399亩。村里原有石灰石资源，已交给牛江水泥厂开采。这里在解放战争时期是游击根据地。[1]
沿革[edit]
1949年设鹏昌乡公所，1958年为鹏昌生产大队，1984年改称鹏昌乡，1986年成立村民委员会，1989年称管理区，此后在1998年10月经恩平市人民政府批准，正式定名为鹏昌村民委员会。[1]
