历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，明正德年间祖先来此立村，起名官田村；此后名称几经更替，先后称大队、乡、村委会、管理区，1999年起沿用现名。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
该页所载，全村由三个自然片组成，共24个生产队，965户、5160人；地处半山区，土地较贫瘦，耕地905亩，山林3339亩，由村委会统一管理。[2]村民靠农耕和进厂务工，村里有生产经营场所100多处，其中建筑厂房12处，其余为小作坊和小档口。[2]
官田村在2020年、2021年、2022年连续列入淘宝村名单；2019年9月列入「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2018年度）名单；2023年5月获「广东省卫生村」称号（2022年度）。[1]
