白马村是高州市大坡镇的行政村，村名取自东面形似昂首之马的白马岭。[1]
名称由来[edit]
村子东面有一座山，山形像昂起头的马，叫白马岭，村名取自此山。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1957年至1959年间为白马高级社，归军屯管区。1960年起分设高垌、白马两个大队，到1963年合并成白马大队；1983年起叫白马乡，1986年起叫白马农村管理区，1999年起由白马村民委员会管理，沿用至今。2019年9月，白马村进入2018年度省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
