历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，明万历年间朱姓祖先自福建莆田迁来，起名径脚村；此后名称几经更替，先后称大队、乡、村委会、管理区，1999年起沿用现名。[1]2019年9月，径脚村列入「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2018年度）名单。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
该页所载，全村324户、1651人，耕地228亩，山地800亩；集体收入有限，因地处偏僻、交通不便，家庭作坊很少，产业以农林业为主，种香蕉、姜茨并承包山林果业，多数村民到镇区或外地务工、经商。[1]
