石壁村是广东省汕头市潮阳区谷饶镇的行政村，在镇西北十多公里的丘陵山区，与金灶镇相邻，由石一、石二、内寮、桐岭四个自然村组成。[1][2]村名来自村后一块陡峭如壁的巨石。[1]明隆庆年间（1567年至1572年）先祖到此创村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，明隆庆年间（1567年至1572年）先祖来此创村，清代属贵山都，民国10年（1921年）属第六区；此后名称几经更替，先后称大队、乡、村委会、管理区，1999年起沿用现名。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
村有黄、杨、曾、张四姓，总人口5000多人、900多户。[2]耕地840亩，种水稻、甘薯、芋头，兼种花生、香蕉、姜薯；山地6180亩，种杨梅、橄榄、油甘、柿子。[2]近年果树种植扩大，部分农户引进内衣、耳机加工，办起10多家小作坊。[2]村内的石壁小学建筑面积3135平方米，有教室24间，学生900多人。[2]
