大坑村是梅州市大埔县洲瑞镇的行政村，一个以陶瓷为主、水稻为辅的「半瓷半农」村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村子位于一片大川之中，起初叫大川，因「川」与「穿」谐音，被认为不吉利，改称大坑[1]。1958年10月为洲瑞公社大坑生产大队，此后到了1983年12月称大坑乡，1986年为村委会，1988年称管理区，1998年成立村民委员会至今[1]。
经济[edit]
村情称全村设12个村民小组，在册371户、1795人，总面积11.58平方千米，耕地1213亩（未注年份）。2009年农村经济总收入3816万元，村集体经济收入约6.8万元。镇内龙头企业三和实业有限公司设在村里，陶瓷工人约300多名，年陶瓷产值1800多万元；还新办了一处千亩香樟种植示范基地，种香樟约2000亩[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，大坑村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。
