新田村是乐昌市白石镇的行政村，广东省2023年4月公布乡村治理示范村创建单位（2022年度）名单，新田村在内。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新田村1958年设大队，1983年设乡，1987年称村民委员会，1989年改管理区，1998年重设村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

据博雅地名网，村委会有6个自然村，林地388.8公顷，耕地合1777亩，水田517亩、旱地1260亩；275户、1233人。村里烟叶与蔬菜并重，集体收入主要来自村办油料加工厂的加工费。2009年有894人参加新型农村合作医疗，占全村人口的72%。[1]
