田心村在赤坭镇的北部，山前大道赤坭路段旁，面积约2.77平方千米，下辖8个村民小组，约820人（未注明年份），距镇区约7公里。[1]先民初到时这里是荒地，开垦成田后在田地中央建房成村，故名田心。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

先民于1686年从佛山三水南边镇的兔约村迁来。1958年建大队；1962年与石坑、丰群并成一个大队，1974年分出，1984年改乡，1986年底设村委会，1987年3月起归赤坭镇人民政府管辖。[1]

经济[edit]

村里山上种速生桉，水田种水稻、花生，鱼塘养殖四大家鱼。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • “民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位（广东省2018年度名单，2019年9月公布）。[1]
  • 2022年度广东省卫生村（2023年5月授予）。[1]
