历史沿革[edit]
赤坭圩原称巴由圩，明末清初成圩，旧址在巴江河边的石仔岗，清道光年间迁到剑岭附近，改以土色得名赤坭圩，后来镇名也由此而来。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
社区内的三和庄有赤坭村进士第，属清代古建筑，2002年7月列入第六批广州市文物保护单位。[1]三和庄村后的宋廷桢夫妇墓始葬于道光十七年（1837年），后于光绪三十年（1904年）改为宋氏与三位夫人合葬，墓地全长56米。[2]
