心和村在赤坭镇的西北部，面积约1.27平方千米，下辖4个村民小组，居民552人上下（博雅地名网、百度百科，未注明年份），距镇区约6公里。[1][2]村名是三条旧村合并时起的：解放前㘵心、大塱头、禾地㘵三村村民关系不睦，建国后为促进和睦，取㘵心的“心”与禾地㘵的“禾”，又给“禾”加上“口”成“和”，合称心和。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1974年以前，心和属连珠大队；1974年起单独设行政村和村委会，最初办公地点在㘵心祠堂，上世纪80年代初迁到现址。1987年3月起归赤坭镇人民政府管辖。[1]

经济[edit]

心和以香芋闻名。据百度百科，村里2014年起推动产业转型，成立香芋协会，种植面积扩至250亩，并与华南农业大学合作试种甜玉米、大豆等，与香芋轮作，还推广“公司+农户”的肉兔养殖。[2]集体收入另有厂房、鱼塘出租。[1]

2019年度广东省卫生村（2019年10月入选名录）。[1]
