历史沿革[edit]
村落沿山岭横向分布，故称横岭[1][2]。村的前身是1950年的横岭农会，1983年设乡时与龙口合并，合称新龙乡[3]，其后改设管理区，1998年成立村民委员会[1]。
经济[edit]
耕地1454亩、山林6430亩，农作以水稻、花生为主[1]。
