典二村在沙浦圩镇东面，距圩镇7公里，下辖9个村民小组。据博雅地名网，村建于宋庆元年间（1195年—1200年）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
宋庆元年间建村。1949年以前属高要县第四区，1953年5月归第八区典水乡管辖，1959年2月编为典二大队，1986年称典二村，1988年3月划归鼎湖区沙浦镇，1998年10月起设典二村民委员会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
全村595户，1889人（博雅地名网，未注明统计年份）。村民的生计是种植、养殖、五金加工与外出务工经商，种植肇实、水稻、蜜柚、蔬菜并养鱼。[1]
